Twig & Arrow Salon
Twig & Arrow Salon in downtown San Luis Obispo, CA offers the best and latest trends in hairdressing, makeup, and beauty services in SLO and the entire California Central Coast.
We are a full service salon that offers a complete range of haircut, hair color, and hair styling services, hair extensions, Brazilian blowouts, and special event makeup. We take special pride in making brides look incredible on their special day and specialize in wedding hair, wedding makeup, and a full suite of wedding beauty services. Our salon features high-end retail hair and beauty products by lines such as Shu Uemura, Milbon, and Oribe.

Since 2005 the artists of Twig + Arrow have built a reputation for innovation, creativity, and hair artistry.
Born of a team of innovative stylists from vastly different backgrounds united together to deliver to our clients exactly what “their look” demands. We celebrate and encourage “Hair Artistry” and create an environment that showcases the talent and creativity of our team. We partner with whoever “you” are as a client, working with your unique needs, style, lifestyle, and goals. Our stylists focus on easy solutions, using the most current looks, cuts, color schemes, with multiple styling options. We believe your unique style is continuously evolving and forever unscripted, and we’re excited to co-create it with you!
Amanda Miller
OWNER, LEAD STYLIST
Amanda Miller (formerly Duckett) has been on the Central Coast for over 10 years, where she was the first person to be an apprentice; training with the creator of Tigerlily Salon. Amanda soon began to specialize in weddings and working with brides, and founded Twig & Arrow Salon in 2010
Lindsay Plough
LEVEL 6 STYLIST
Lindsay has been doing hair in San Luis Obispo for more than 9 years. She loves the relationships she gets to make with each and every client. She loves doing blondes, short textured haircuts, and beach waves.
Lexi Kuehl
LEVEL 4 STYLIST
Twig and Arrow is her second home and she loves every second of it! She loves doing all the blondes and making everyone feel brighter and refreshed leaving her chair. Whether it’s a brunette service, a blonde service, or wedding hair, she looks forward to meeting you and helping your hair dreams come true!
Missy Valdez
LEVEL 4 STYLIST
Comin at ya from the dry heat of the Central Valley. Bakersfield, CA. Is my home town and I moved to the central coast in March of 2022. I can truly say hair is my PASSION, even after 10 years in the industry. Trust me when I say I’m probably more excited about your hair journey than you are. I continue to make hair education a priority in my career always staying up on the newest trends (except for perms… that’s where I draw the line 🤚🏽). Nina Federico
LEVEL 3 STYLIST
Nina has been doing makeup for about 10 years; it’s her passion and first love. She is currently learning all things hair as she start a new journey in the beauty industry as the salon apprentice, but her passion is FULL glam & makeup for brides, and photoshoots.
Chanmi Jung
LEVEL 2 STYLIST
Chan looks forward to this learning experience and growing his knowledge of hair to become a future hairstylist. He would like to specialize in highlights, balayage and hair extensions. He is so excited to help clients enhance their natural beauty.
Hope Linder
LEVEL 2 STYLIST
Hope recently moved to SLO after graduating from the University of Georgia. She began her cosmetology apprenticeship at a local salon while she studied Psychology and Design. She has now found a home at Twig and Arrow. She has bold dreams for her career in the hair industry, and she’s looking forward to making your hair dreams come true!
Kyah Pomi
LEVEL 2 STYLIST
Kyah grew up on the central coast and moved to the bay to achieve her cosmetology license. She is beyond excited to find a new home at Twig and Arrow and help people achieve their hair dreams!
Ashley Waite
LEVEL 1 STYLIST
I grew up here on the central coast and I love to work here side by side with my identical twin. I’ve always had a passion for everything beauty. I specialize in makeup and I love to make people feel good about themselves!
Allison Waite
LEVEL 1 STYLIST
I was born and raised here on the central coast. I absolutely love getting to know people here in the salon, I’m super talkative. I’m an identical twin and I love working side by side with her in the salon! My specialty is makeup and Blonding services!
Courtney Michelle
COSMETIC TATTOO ARTIST
Her love for art, music, and self-expression landed her in school for cosmetic tattooing at The Microblading Institute in the Bay Area and now she gets to do what she loves! She can’t wait to enhance your natural beauty & give your self-esteem and confidence some tattoo vitamins.
